South Korea & Jeju Island

South Korea!
And yeah, I'm back.
Completely wrapped up, looking like a ball.

*Note: All these pics were non-edited ones but directly taken from Camera360. AWESOME effect. But doesn't make my face slimmer, body slimmer nor my legs longer. So that's one thing I seriously hate about it.

PS; Brought my DSLR along but the memory card is not with me right now.
PSPS; All pictures were directly from my iPhone 4s.

Kept myself all awake so that I'm able to sleep during the 6 hours flight yet I was entirely wrong. Only managed to get the most 3 hours of sleep and I've got to endure the whole day for it. Worst still, in that freezing cold weather which makes me wanna hibernate forever -_-

The flight was extremely disturbing with kids whining here and there and random people walking up and down. Maybe I should save up for business class in future already.

Woke up around morning time where I can see a little sunlight from that little window from the plane. And I know it's time for me to brush up and do my make up. It was a failed one anyway. Never do your make up on the plane without preparing at least a little moisturizer on board. My skin was clearly dehydrated. Everything looks screwed when I applied my foundation base.

Despite numerous edit on the complexion, my dark circles was still so visible. OMG hideous ghost spotted.

So we finally landed in Korea international airport and I was instantly being surprised by the generosity of Samsung. They had awesome big Television sets together with comfortable sofas (more advance than the one in my living room) in the airport. Free viewing for ALL. I guess there's more than 5 or probably 10 around the airport. Later then I realized that Samsung is actually originally from Korea. Yeah I was a bit slow you see. Never did any research about Korea, nor a K-pop fan either. I'm just there to experience a different culture and environment for 8 days with my two lovely parents.

Settled for breakfast and it wasn't a pleasant one. I just simply can't get used to the food there. The possibility for me to have Korean cuisine in Singapore is near to zero. I can understand my preference but not to such shocking extent where the smell of the porridge lingers in my mind for at least a day.

Oh and I totally love the cutlery there. So cute.

One thing that somehow makes me proud of Korea is the responsibility they have in them. They actually clear their own trays and food themselves. Furthermore, one think I realized about them is they don't really serve drinks but mainly free plain water for your consumption (and it's self-service). No wonder Korean girls are so skinny *envy*.

Went Ice Gallery to learn about ice sculpture and even had our hands on one too! Interesting much but somehow I didn't have the mood to make something nice that day. Mine looks like some deformed ice bricks that fell from some ice berg or something. Well somehow, dad was lucky enough to won a 'gold' medal for the so-called ice sculpture competition that was going on that day. Kind of giggled when I was reminded of his awkward smile when he's there receiving his 'gold' medal. HAHA.

Yes, that was exactly the awkward smile that I was talking about.

Went DongDaeMun next for some shopping. I'm dead tired, so how the bloody hell do I even have the effort to shop like how I always do? That was freaking a mental torture I swear.

Went lunch after hours!

After our filling lunch, went LOTTE world located in Sincheon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea.
Consisting of both outdoor and indoor theme park. Look pretty much like Genting theme park. Not much of a preference since I'm not into rides though.

I was extremely exhausted that day and didn't take pictures at LOTTE world at all. I just wanna check-in to the hotel and sleep for the day ASAP.
Bought wine red hair dye and got my hair coloured. The colour turns out rather brown-ish than red, unless under sunlight :(

And my nails was horrible. Obviously in need of a manicure session ASAP.

Slept like a pig and was ready for the day!
Woke up, saw this church opposite our room. So took pictures of it and around the area.

Goodmorning, rise and shine!

Went for breakfast and I'm so in love with the atmosphere! Like ATAS ah!

Beautiful Christmas decoration nicely decorated around the hotel lobby, and ready for the upcoming Christmas!

Headed over to have our very first kimchi-making lesson! I'm not a kimchi lover and never will I be, but this time round it's gonna be a meaningful one. Because those kimchi that we've made, after fermentation, all will be donated to the orphans and the old folks! So I listened attentively for the lesson and do as instructed for my kimchi.

Mom looking contented with the kimchi that she wrapped!
HAHAHA so cute.

So I actually wore the hanbok and look so weird on it. I definitely need a hair cut and that's for sure (which is now shorter already, chopped it off shorter when I'm back in Singapore hahaha).

My eyebags... And yes, I've got eyebags for the entire 8 DAYS straight. Really lack of sleep everyday ;(

Went lunch aftermath (tends to feel hungry faster when you're in cold weather).

Had fantastic SHABU SHABU!!!
Not gonna miss out beef for this one.

And beautiful tangerines after our heavy meal!

Not gonna waste time, we headed over to this fantastic farm and I'm sooooooo in love with the atmosphere and environment there! I just wanna roll on the ground and live there forever. Yes, I mean it.

And we had ice cream making lesson! No time for much pictures because we're so busy making our banana-vanilla ice cream!! It's delicious by the way.

So after the making of ice cream, went out and realised it's snowing ;)
But well, its hard to capture falling snow on my camera phone..

We rested for a day at ski resort and coincidentally, it was snowing there as well :)
And ya, the ski resort that we stayed for a night really cast a huge impression in me. The whole concept was like an apartment! So we took out our shoes as well and place it at the door step, treating it just like our own home!
Yes, there's a kitchen with all the necessities available for us!

Our Tatami room! But we slept in another room with 2 bouncy beds available for us (dad slept the tatami instead HAHAHA)

'mini living room'

'built-in kitchen'

And balcony too!

Just to camwhore, I don't know what brought me to the balcony and I stood outside freezing like a snow ball, having snow flakes all over my shirt and I was merely wearing just a thin long sleeved top and a pair of thin leggings. Stupidity level: infinity.

At night, went to the supermarket and bought many food back and cook! I'm the chef of the day! Cooking supper for dad and mom!

Soju!
- Taste like liquor being added with lots of water. 19% of alcohol level per bottle. Pretty nice, feels good when drinking in cold weather though!

Had an awesome sleep before heading to Everland theme park (by Samsung) the next morning!

WEEEE~
This is fun! Because while we're on the way down to the Safari-part of the theme park, it started to rain! What an experience! Cold weather + rain, sitting on this skyride thingy.

Huge bear looking like black version of winnie the pooh!

EVERLAND WAS AWESOME. The concept is somewhat similar to USS, all the lalaland stuffs. It won't be called going to a theme park without coming to Everland! It's at least 3 times bigger than Universal Studios Singapore. They even have Safari (lions, and many other animals) in the theme park! Tons of restaurants, 2 different kinds of cable car, a huge ROSE garden (all I saw was a piece of dried land. Probably due to winter season), many roller coaster rides around, all the 3D, 4D stuffs, weird rides that you'll never experience it in Singapore and MANY MORE!!! Bought a little kitty ears clip there in one of their shop. Although it's slightly overpriced, but I would simply kill myself for not entering any of their shops. IT'S WAY TOO CUTE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE. I felt like I'm in candy world. The whole place was shades of pastel colours like baby blue, apple green, baby pink, light yellow!

Unable to spend the whole day there as we've got to catch a flight over to JEJU Island next :(
So left Everland unwillingly and went to catch our flight at Gimpo airport.

Yeah know what, my dad is trying to act cute. He'll probably kills me if he knows he's photo is shared by me here anyway.

Reached Jeju island in the evening. The sky starts to gets darker at around 4pm... A place full of women, water and wind. Oh yeah, seafood too man! HAHA. I really really love this place so much! The environment is like near to perfect. The awesome breeze, the beautiful sound of the waves, great views of mountains... it's perfect. And I spent about 1 hour 30 minutes to pull myself up to the sleeping volcano. I WAS AT ITS PEAK MAN!!! I felt so adventurous out of a sudden though hehe.

Seafood night! ABALONE!

Check-in hotel and try to have ample sleep for the next day. A very exciting one because we'll be visiting the Teddy Bear Museum! All-time favourite for the ladies!

No matter how angry I can be, this picture never fails to bring back the smile I had instead.

*Spotted some dark circles!*

I LOVE TEDDY BEAR LA!!!
I miss this place so badly.

Aftermath, went over to Glass musuem next.

Not that interesting or anything that surprise me though.

Went to their traditional village for a walk and had our lunch next! I LOVE BBQ man. How I wish I can have BBQ meat everyday :(

Went trick art museum aftermath! INTERESTING and cute much!! Giving you optical illusion where by a 2D art piece painted on the wall appears to be like 3D ones instead. Cool much :D

Poking the ass~

More pictures in my DSLR instead :(

After playing around in the trick art museum, we headed off to pluck tangerines!!!

JUST PLUCK AND GO like a free flow!
HAHAHAHA.

Went to ride the horse aftermath!

Rested for a day at Jeju and then took morning flight back to Seoul the next morning!

Went to purchase Odbo cosmetic products and loved it so much! Its super costly in Singapore and only available in China town yue hwa anyway. Attended beauty lesson as well too :)

Within ONE minute.

This is how vain the female can be.

Went to BBQ again for our dinner! MY FAV LA!

And then went shopping aftermath!

Spot that extremely 'photogenic' passerby ever.

Back to our room at Seoul and had a hard time re-packing our luggage!

Went to Sinchoon for some last min shopping. Gonna be back to tropical Singapore again lo!

Settled down at a cafe for some snacks and drinks before heading to the airport for our 6 hours flight back t SG.

A lovely and memorable trip that I will not forgot.

Goodbye Korea.
