Mini Secondary classmates gathering

After saying good bye with Zhenghua Secondary school, it's been almost a year ever since I've last saw Debbie and Edmund! Although a year has past, I'm glad to know that the both of them is doing great as well. Edmund got into dance club in his college (his fav always since Zhenghua Sec days), and Debbie, still doing her ballet and grew taller (fml why i so short knn), enrolling into PSB academy soon. And most importantly, got a boyfriend who loves her deeply as well. I'm so happy for them! ^.^

After much discussion, we decided to go Prawning first for this outing (we're still planning more for our next following outings!). Headed to Farm Mart at around 11.30pm and started prawning. Weechong was late anyway and Xiong brobro was unable to join us for this trip. Talked a lot of rubbish and gossip as usual. Gosh, I miss my secondary school days already.

Out with super light make up. Who cares, I'm can be SUPER comfortable when I'm with them without my make up on as well. They've seen me without make up for 4 years already please. HAHA.

Edmund tiew tiew tiew tiew tiew jie kai!!!

Prawnie prawnie.

Waited patiently like a boss.

Really enjoyed myself so much. It's really good to see them again ;)

Can't wait for the next outing though!

*PS; we prawned till midnight and then walked from Farm Mart to main road. The journey, was full of laughter. Having me, Edmund and Deb dancing to Oppa Gangnam Style together, hopping away like some idiots dancing the same moves. GOSH, we can be more lame.

Demi Lovato's style

Not really into her music but definitely her into her style.
Well in fact, she's my fashion inspiration actually.

This is her few best looks that I've found (which is my fav). I guess I've got to add another new year resolution to the list: to have all these or similar outfits in my wardrobe in year 2013.

It's just so common to spot Demi with awesome and fabulous outerwear on her. Looking at those leather jackets on her... omg life is totally unfair dude.

Military jacket w white/beige playsuit & pump heels.

Light denim jacket, vintage shades, school-girl skirt and a pair of leopard wedge sneakers with studs.
Loving this old-school feel of course.

This is so gonna look great for party.
Studded leather jacket and sequin skater bustier dress.

Simple yet fabulous?
LOST tank top, leather jacket and gold necklace.

Rock that chic man!
Striking pink suede blazer, leather tight jeans & studded heels.

Not too much for the day instead?
Spikes denim crop jacket, white dress, pump heels, sweet colour headband and round shades.

I AM SO IN LOVE with the acid wash leather jacket.
Great combination with the neon dress too. Oh, and not forgetting that pair of studded stilettos.

Sexy net bodysuit with striking red leather high waist and that long blazer.
Gosh, I love her.

PS; I love outerwear. Blazer, Cardigans, Jackets, Vests and many more.

Your Fav colour defines you.

Are you aware that different colours can actually affect a person psychologically in different ways.
And your favourite colour, defines you.&nbsp Here's a few colours of my choice.

Let's first start with BLACK.

Black is the color of the hidden, the secretive and the unknown, creating an air of mystery. It keeps things bottled up inside, hidden from the world. In color psychology the meaning of the color black is protection from external emotional stress. It creates a barrier between itself and the outside world, providing comfort while protecting its emotions and feelings, and hiding its vulnerabilities, insecurities and lack of self confidence.

In color psychology, black means power and control, hanging on to information and things.

Black implies self-control and discipline, independence and a strong will, and giving an impression of authority and power.

People who like black may be conventional, conservative and serious, or they may think of themselves as being sophisticated or very dignified.

Pros:
protection and comfort, strong, contained, formal, sophisticated, seductive, mysterious, endings & beginnings.

Cons:
aloof, depressing and pessimistic, secretive and withholding, conservative and serious, power & control, sadness and negativity.

RED

Red is a warm and positive colour. It signifies a pioneering spirit and leadership qualities, promoting ambition and determination. It is also strong-willed and can give confidence to those who are shy or lacking in will power.

Pros:
action, energy and speed, attention-getting, assertive and confident, energizing, stimulating, exciting, powerful, passionate, stimulating and driven, courageous and strong, spontaneous and determined.

Cons:
aggressive and domineering, over-bearing, tiring, angry and quick-tempered, ruthless, fearful and intolerant, rebellious and obstinate, resentful, violent and brutal.

GRAY:

The color gray is an unemotional color. It is detached, neutral, impartial and indecisive.
Being both motionless and emotionless, gray is solid and stable, creating a sense of calm and composure, relief from a chaotic world.
The color gray is subdued, quiet and reserved. It does not stimulate, energize, rejuvenate or excite.

In the meaning of colors, gray is conservative, boring, drab and depressing on the one hand and elegant and formal on the other, yet never glamorous. (Hence it's never my favourite colour).

Pros:
Reliable, conservative, dignified, neutral, impartial, professional, mature, intelligent, classic, solid, stable, calming, subdued, reserved, elegant, formal and dependable

Cons:
Indecisive, non-emotional, indifferent, boring, sad, depressed, lifeless, lonely, isolated

Light gray is soothing and calming. It enlightens, saves and rescues those in difficult life situations.

Dark gray is conventional and constrained. It is serious and solemn, inflexible and strict. It relates to self-denial and self-discipline.

PURPLE:

The color purple relates to the imagination and spirituality. It stimulates the imagination and inspires high ideals. It is an introspective color, allowing us to get in touch with our deeper thoughts.
The color purple is specifically associated with royalty and the nobility, creating an impression of luxury, wealth and extravagance.
Purple has power. It has a richness and quality to it that demands respect. Purple is ambitious and self-assured, the leader.

Pros:
Unusual and individual, creative and inventive, psychic and intuitive, humanitarian, selfless and unlimited, mystery, fantasy and the future.

Cons:
Immaturity, being impractical, cynical and aloof, pompous and arrogant, fraudulent and corrupt, delusions of grandeur and the social climber.

BLUE:

The color blue is one of trust, honesty and loyalty. It is sincere, reserved and quiet, and doesn't like to make a fuss or draw attention. Blue hates confrontation, and likes to do things in its own way.

Blue is reliable and responsible. This color exhibits an inner security and confidence. You can rely on it to take control and do the right thing in difficult times. It has a need for order and direction in its life, including its living and work spaces.

Blue is nostalgic. It is a color that lives in the past, relating everything in the present and the future to experiences in the past.

Pros:
Loyalty, trust and integrity, tactful, reliability and responsibility, conservatism and perseverance, caring and concern, idealistic and orderly, authority, devotion and contemplation, peaceful and calm.

Cons:
Being rigid, deceitful and spiteful, self-righteous, superstitious and emotionally unstable, too conservative, predictable and weak, unforgiving, and frigid. It can also indicate manipulation, unfaithfulness and untrustworthy.

PINK:

(OMG Ive finally successfully dug this photo out!)

The color pink represents compassion, nurturing and love. It relates to unconditional love and understanding, and the giving and receiving of nurturing.

Pink is feminine and romantic, affectionate and intimate, thoughtful and caring. It tones down the physical passion of red replacing it with a gentle loving energy.

The color pink represents the sweetness and innocence of the child in all of us. It is the color of uncomplicated emotions, inexperience and naiveté. A constant and exclusive use of pink can often lead you to become immature, silly and girlish, abandoning your adult responsibilities.
Pink can also remind you of earlier childhood memories, associated with nurturing and comfort from your mother or a mother figure.

Pros:
Unconditional and romantic love, compassion and understanding, nurturing, romance, warmth, hope, calming, sweetness, naive, feminine and intuitive energy.

Cons: over-emotional and over-cautious, having emotional neediness or unrealistic expectations, being immature and girlish, lack of will power and lack of self worth.

So what's your favourite colour?

D.I.Y - Studded Ripped Shorts

Well, I'm not a D.I.Y-kind of person so I'm trying my luck on my pair of jeans instead. So if I successfully complete a pair of Studded Ripped shorts, that shows that this D.I.Y task is an easy task for everyone. If not, I'll be just wasting a pair of old jeans away only lor. HAHA.
We shall see the outcome ;)

What you need:
- A nail filer
- Chalk
- Metal/wooden ruler
- Pen knife
- Scissors

An OLD PAIR OF JEANS.

First, cut the jeans. Advise to wear it first and then use the chalk prepared to draw the line. You may try to draw it slightly longer because you can easily cut it shorter as you want to later on.

Cut it slightly downwards and not horizontally straight.

Next up, face the nicely cut jeans with the other side and start cutting.

Start to shred the bottom of the jeans on both sides (the thigh opening) with a pair of scissors.
The more you continue the action, the more shredded it'll look.

As you're done with the shredding, move on to the next step with your nail filer.

Rub on the part where you wanna rip your shorts. Due to friction, the part being filed will appears to be thinner and hence easier to rip it later.

Start ripping with the pen knife prepared.

You may also want to put the remaining cloth underneath the part where you wanna rip to prevent ripping the back of the shorts as well.

Let's start studding now! You may want to get studs from http://www.facebook.com/lamourlaviemmdd too! They have a wide range of different studs available. They are selling triangle studs and spikes too!

Use chalk to draw first before studding to ensure exact measurements of the design wanted ;)

Here's the outcome of my shorts!!!!
Love it love it!

Gonna get down to Scape flea markets for cheap jeans short and D.I.Y it already. SO NAISE ley me like me like (HAHHAHA BLOODY HELL, 'ME LIKE ME LIKE' sounds like some act-cute wanna be HAHAHAHAHAHHAA).

So yep, such D.I.Y-idiot like me can already successfully D.I.Y-ed a pair of shorts. *OMG i'm so proud of myself anyway* and hence I believe, everyone has the capability to D.I.Y themselves as well.
Gonna try dip dye shorts soon. I hope everything goes well for an extremely clumsy girl like me!
